Electronic Mail (e-mail) is a very good communication tool where we can contact our friends and family in a faster and easier manner. Hence, e-mail has been widely used by marketer to communicate with their potential customer as it is an easy, simple and fast technique to close a deal, especially in Internet marketing business.
The advantages of using e-mails would most probably be providing customers with good after-sale services, make a better relationship between sellers and buyers and most of all aiming for more repeated sales. E-mails has the power to convince its potential customers on purchasing the particular item or service in a short time, plus extra advertisement can be included in each mail by offering more kind of products to generate even more sales.
After all, sending e-mails is fast and does not cost much compared to the regular mail services, furthermore it does not involve any paper or ink which is good for building a greener Earth. Although there are many companies who used e-mails for their own sake, but there are lots of companies that send unrequested/junk e-mails to people from across the world. These mails are usually sent in bulk where we can called them as unsolicited e-mails, also better known as 'spam'.
Without careful observation, spam can make customers confused on how to differentiate which e-mails are good and which are bad. If we couldn't handle with care, they may harm our computer or sometimes give out our personal details to the theft without us realizing it. Therefore, having a spam filter in our e-mail is essential. These people will not take responsibilities on what they are doing which may end up being punished heavily if they get caught by the law.
